Spectacular opening of Abhisaran 2022 at BSSS

Abhisaran 2022, a three-day mega event organised by The Bhopal School of Social Sciences to celebrate its Golden Jubilee, had a colourful launch. On the inauguration day, thousands of exuberant youths registered their presence. The morning started with traditional dances as the run-up to the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

BSSSites accorded a rousing welcome to the chief guest Rannvijay Singh Singha, Roadies fame Bollywood actor. A tidal wave of his admirers greeted him with cheerful screams. The students were enthralled to see him amidst themselves. Dr Father John PJ, Principal BSSS, warmly welcomed him and expressed his gratitude to him, for being a part of the golden jubilee celebration of the college. Rannvijay congratulated BSSS college on completing the glorious golden 50 years of imparting education, moral values and awareness. He also praised Team Invictus for the splendid programme. Showing his love for Bhopal, Rannvijay appreciated the natural beauty and tehzeeb of Bhopal. He also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Bhopalis for their love for vehicles. He congratulated Fr. John P.J. for giving the best of opportunities to the students and having a perfect system and ambience.

Several vintage vehicles were assembled and an exciting bike and cycle stunt show was also organized. Rannvijay Singh also gave an interview for Radio Rhythm and answered many questions in a joyous atmosphere.

BSSS PRO Manju Mehta informed that the BSSS Management Department, organized Weaves of Madhya Pradesh, a fashion show in which students were exclusively required to wear weaves of Maheshwari, Chanderi, Bagh, Zari Zardosi and Mukaish Badla only. It was attended by Mrs Universe, fashion designer Mumtaz Ali along with well-known models and fashion industry veterans.

In the evening, Harsh Gujral's stand-up comedy show created a laughter riot. Everyone enjoyed Gujrals's uproariously funny performance. The first day of Abhisaran concluded with Garba Night. The young crowd danced to the upbeat songs of Garba and Dandiya and enjoyed themselves.
