BSSS inaugurates Sports Club

Department of Physical Education, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) has launched its Sports Club.

The department which runs BPES, an undergraduate course, is involved in the extensive development of the students.

Students of the department enthusiastically participate in social awareness and welfare activities organised under the aegis of the schemes floated by the Government of India and through their various cells and clubs-Umang, Pedal Club, Adventure Club and Fitness Club.

The objective of the newly formed BSSS Sports Club is to keep all the staff and students of the college healthy by engaging them in sports activities and excercises. The office bearers of the newly formed club took oath in the presence of Jose Chacko, Director of Sports, Dr. Alok Mishra, HoD, Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya and Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Director, Physical Education and Sports Education, MANIT. Shruti Aggarwal, Club President, Jash Awasthi, Vice President, Abhishek Lowanshi, Secretary and Shivani Prajapati, Co-Secretary took an oath to work sincerely and to fulfil their responsibilities and duties to the best of their abilities.

It may be mentioned that Principal Dr. Fr. John P.J. while congratulating the officials of the newly formed club said that it is necesssary to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Everyone should do regular physical activities and maintain physical health, as a healthy mind in a healthy body is beneficial to social interest.
