BSSS Celebrates Independence Day with Enthusiasm and Patriotic Spirit

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at BSSS (Bhopal Social Sciences College) amidst great enthusiasm and a patriotic sirit. The program commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, Mr. Saurabh Tiwari, Chairman of the Teerath Institute. On this occasion, NCC cadets filled everyone with pride by presenting a national salute to the Tricolor.

Following this, during the cultural program, students infused the atmosphere with deep patriotism through energetic and magnificent patriotic dance performances. The main attraction of the event was a presentation by the Mayur Theater Group. The artists staged a deeply emotional and brilliant play based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The powerful portrayal of Udham Singh and the realistic depiction of the firing incident transported the audience back to that historical era. Everyone praised the performance with thunderous applause and teary eyes.

College Principal, Dr. Father John, congratulated and extended his best wishes to everyone on the 80th Independence Day. He delivered a message to the students emphasizing self-reliance, new startups, and the positive use of AI for building a developed India. Chief Guest Mr. Saurabh Tiwari also extended his Independence Day wishes to the BSSS family and lauded the contribution of the youth.

During the event, the Chief Guest honored NCC Cadet Sergeant Anuj Singh Rawat and Under Officer Niharika Mandloi for their outstanding performance. At the conclusion of the program, event in-charge Dr. Manju Mehta expressed her gratitude to all the guests, teachers, students, and the supporting team.
