BSSS NSS Volunteers Excel at District-Level “Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat” Competitions

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) actively participated in the district-level competitions organized under the “Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat” campaign at Gyan Vigyan Bhawan, Barkatullah University.

The programme was organized to further the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and strengthen the spirit of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan by creating awareness among young people about substance abuse and encouraging them to promote positive social messages through creative and cultural expression.

The programme commenced with the welcome of the chief guests and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. A range of competitions was subsequently organized for students from various colleges, including Reel Making, Nukkad Natak, Slam Poetry, Slogan Writing, Painting, Debate, Dance and Song.

A total of 25 NSS volunteers from BSSS participated in the competitions with enthusiasm and dedication. The students delivered an impressive performance, bringing several accolades to the institution:

• First Prize – Slam Poetry: Shweta Patel
• Second Prize – Nukkad Natak: BSSS NSS Team
• Third Prize – Slogan Writing: Jay Tripathi
• Third Prize – Painting: Ishita Rohitas

The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were felicitated for their outstanding performances. All participants also took the Nasha Mukti Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to creating awareness against substance abuse and contributing towards a healthy and drug-free society.

The event provided an inspiring platform for BSSS NSS volunteers to showcase their creativity and talent while spreading the message of “Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat.”
