The Department of Commerce at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, in collaboration with E&ICT Academy–IIT Guwahati, celebrated the successful conclusion of its five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) entitled “Commerce 360: Research, Intelligence, Transformation” held from 24th to 28th November 2025. The event, designed to equip educators and researchers with advanced tools and insights, focused on the integration of artificial intelligence, data analytics, contemporary research methodologies, and intellectual property rights (IPR) into commerce education and research. Each day presented a rich blend of expert-led workshops and interactive training sessions, allowing participants to explore AI-based research tools, hands-on data analysis using leading software like Jamovi, as well as qualitative research using platforms such as JMP and Voyant. Practical modules also covered research proposal development, identifying funding sources, and crafting effective IPR strategies. A highlight of the programme was the valedictory session, graced by IAS Manoj Shrivastava, State Election Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal (M.P.), whose presence as chief guest inspired and motivated all attendees. The programme fostered a vibrant atmosphere of learning, exchange, and collaboration, drawing enthusiastic participation from faculty across commerce and management streams. The concluding session included heartfelt acknowledgments for the academic leadership, faculty coordinators, technical staff, and all supporting teams whose dedication ensured the smooth execution of the FDP. Special appreciation was extended to the guest experts, institutional partners, and the spirited participants whose drive made the event a resounding success.
