BSSS inaugurates state-of-the-art AI Lab

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) announced the inauguration of its cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab, a significant milestone in its commitment to innovation and excellence. Dr. A A S Durairaj, Archbishop of Bhopal, graced the ceremony as the chief guest.

The AI Lab, powered by highly configured systems installed by HCL and Intel, provides students with hands-on experience and exposure to the latest AI and Machine Learning (ML) technologies. This initiative is set to redefine AI and ML education in the region. The vision behind this initiative was conceived by Rev. Fr. John P J, Principal; Sr. Leema Jacob, Vice Principal; and Fr. Jomi Panithas, Dean Academics, BSSS, who aim to inculcate hands-on learning of AI in young minds. Swati Sharma, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Application, along with the faculty members, played a pivotal role in spearheading this initiative.

The AI Lab is a testament to BSSS’s commitment to providing industry-ready skills and preparing students for the demands of the IT industry. This state-of-the-art facility reinforces BSSS’s position as a leader in education and innovation.
